A Waterless Specialist

A Waterless Specialist is the very first position at Waterless Works. You will earn your stripes and we will quickly find out if you are Waterless material. The Specialist role is a test period to see if you will be successful, and that you have dependability, initiative, and work ethic to have a career here at Waterless Works.

Pay: $8/hour +tips

Target Length Until Promotion: 2-4 week test period

Expectations: Be punctual, and work extremely hard, wash the instructed way, work to improve your speed and ability every single day

The Second Mate

The Second Mate is the backbone of the team. They will support the crew in every way possible. After the completion of the Waterless Specialist tenure, you will be promoted to the rank of Second Mate. You have passed the initiation phase, and with continued hard work, you will soon be a First Mate, and one step away from operating your very own crew.

Pay: $9/hour + tips

Expectations:  Be punctual, and work extremely hard, wash the instructed way, work to improve your speed and ability every single day, test at a 50% speed.

The First Mate

The First Mate is the second ranking officer behind the captain. He/she is experienced in almost all the facets of the Waterless’ washing process. He/she knows the company’s history, the charity, package contents, and is able to interact with customers in a professional manner. 

Pay: $10/hour + tips

Expectations: Extremely punctual, work hard, be a top washer (top speed and quality), be knowledgeable of every facet of the company.

The Captain

The Captain is in charge of their crew. The captain will have the task of assembling their crew and developing them after they arrive. As the commander of the vessel, it is his/her duty to make sure that all the cars are conquered that day, and that every customer leaves delighted. Top quality, fast washing, is expected of his/her team. The captain will be graded against his/her peers.

Pay: $12/hour + Tips

Expectations: 15 minutes earlier than everyone else, developing crew, choosing crew members, inventory management if there is no quartermaster present, developing leaders, top customer experience, top washing.
